Our Free Software GSM SMSC can receive SMS using SMPP and deliver them either through SMPP or GSM MAP by using our highly conformant TCAP/MAP stack. The system implements true store and forward handling and has been designed to be redundant and scale. Many processes can insert/store new SMS and multiple workers can deliver SMS.

The system can be combined with our SMS route-home platform and the SMPP Router. SMS will be stored in a database and the delivery workers will consume that database. The delivery worker will identify a subscriber that has message delivery scheduled and then try to load one or more SMS. For each of these SMS is a route is selected. A route can deliver or submit through a SMPP connection or use mt-ForwardSM of GSM MAP with a configurable application-context name.
